6 Shoe Trends for Fall 2017

6 Shoe Trends for Fall 2017

When school starts, it is natural to start thinking about fall fashion. With school shopping at its highest level, getting in on the hottest trends in shoes is exciting!  Here are some of the top shoe trends that are showing up this season!

6 Shoe Trends for Fall 2017

  1. Fringe & Tassels – Adornments to boots and shoes are bigger and better than ever! This season we’re seeing a lot of fringe and tassels. For a classic look choose a pair where the fringe and tassels are the same color as the body of the shoe. If you’re going for a more hip and funky look, a completely opposite color is a fun choice.
  2. Multi-Buckle Straps – Buckled straps are “in” and the more, the better. We’re seeing shoes, booties and boots with multiple buckled straps all over the runway and now they’re hitting the everyday fashion scene too! We personally love the look, but most of them should be “faux adjustment” so that you’re not wasting a lot of time putting them on and taking them off.
  3. Bold Hardware – Look for footwear that utilizes big and bold hardware! Look for big buckles, metal studs, exposed zippers, over-sized eyelets and more! Gold, Silver, Rose-Tone and Brass…it doesn’t matter!
  4. Multi-Ankle Straps – When it comes to getting dressed up for a night out on the town, you’ll want to select a pair of high-heeled sandals or pumps that feature multiple ankle straps. Women everywhere are loving them for the look and for the adjustability.
  5. All Leather – All genuine leather shoes and boots are back and hotter than ever! Women realize that when they invest in a good leather shoe or boot, it will last them for years! The clogs that we sell at Superior Clogs are made out of the highest-quality, genuine leather. When properly taken care of, they will last you for a long time, making them a wise fashion investment.
  6. Sculpted Heels – If you’re a fashionista, I’m sure you’ve heard all about the sculpted heel trend for Fall and Winter 2017. You can find them in wide and skinny spike or chunky heel styles. If you plan on wearing your new sculpted heel shoes a lot and for long periods of time, we suggest going with a wider heel. If you’ll be wearing them for only special occasions and for shorter periods of time, go skinny. Obviously, your choice will depend on your individual comfort factor and needs.
